Week Eleven - Pinterest Princess
Hello everyone, I made a few appearances in The Comedy Trust's office this week...
13/06/17
My first appearance concentrated on a Chuckle Tuesday blog posts which is a funny Thank You Note To Coffee, you can catch it by clicking here!
I also wrote a post on Liverpool Comedy Festival's news section about our Comedy Course For Beginners as well on other social media sites.
And finally I helped with the festivals event information spreadsheet on Microsoft Excel. I had to fill out information regarding all the different venues which will be used during the festival, such as addresses and capacity and all that jazz.

The following day, I set the morning off with some image editing in Abode Lightroom. The images were from the Stroke Associations standup comedy night. I got to sharpen certain areas of the image if they were a bit blurry or getting rid of a slight shine on their faces. I found Lightroom to be quite a bit easier than Photoshop for simple image editing and it is also a good warm up to practising Photoshop.
I completely redesigned The Comedy Trust's Pinterest page and added new boards. I made cover images for each of the boards to give the overall look of the page more eye-catching and exciting. I also finally figured out how to pin images from The Comedy Trust's website to Pinterest, which can help bring a huge amount of traffic into our website! Here's a peak of the new design, click on the image to follow our account!

On my final day this week I took the camera out and got some footage for the MerseyTravel video. This included footage of buses and trains which will be used throughout the video. The video will be useful in showcasing the success of The Comedy Trust's corporate training courses.
Finally, I spread the word about our new competition! We had two free tickets to give away to those who signed up to the Liverpool Comedy Festival's mailing list so I put it out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and queued more about the competition over the following couple of weeks.
Jessie.
